Shepherd’s Pie

Ingredients

  • 4 pounds ground beef
  • 2 medium onions, finely chopped
  • 16 Oz Frozen Carrots
  • 16 Oz frozen peas
  • 16 Oz Frozen Brussels Sprouts
  • 1 (14-ounce) can Corn
  • 1 (14-ounce) can French Green Beans
  • 2 (14-ounce) cans Beef Broth
  • ½ Cup Flour
  • 1 Tsp Black Pepper
  • 4 Tsp Chives
  • 12 Servings Mashed Potatoes prepared according to package directions

Directions

  1. Brown the Beef & Onion

    Brown the ground beef and onions in a large skillet; drain the fat.
  2. Add the Vegetables

    Add all vegetables and cook over medium heat for five minutes
  3. Prepare the Broth Mixture

    Mix the broth, flour, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Thicken the Filling

    Add broth mixture to skillet and cook over medium heat until the mixture thickens
  5. Transfer to the Baking Dish

    Spread the skillet contents into a large rectangular baking dish
  6. Season the Potatoes

    Mix the chives into the potatoes
  7. Top with Potatoes

    Spread the potatoes evenly over the mixture in the baking dish
  8. Bake the Pie

    Bake at 375°F for 1 hour.
